Tender Description
This tender invites bids from eligible contractors for the supply and installation of solar street lights and solar energy systems across various locations in Washuk district, Balochistan. The Assistant Director Local Government, Washuk, is overseeing this project aimed at enhancing renewable energy infrastructure under the 2025-2026 fiscal year. The scope includes solar street lighting packages for Washuk town, installation of solar systems at multiple madrasas in tehsils Washuk and Shahogeri, and solarization of mosques, reflecting a strong focus on sustainable energy solutions in the region.
The works involve deploying high-quality solar panels, street light fixtures, and associated electrical components suitable for the local environment. The sites are spread across Washuk town, Mashkail, Killi Kalag, and other rural areas, requiring careful logistical planning and technical expertise to ensure efficient installation and long-term performance. Contractors must be prepared to handle the challenges of remote locations and ensure compliance with composite schedule rates 2023 on percentage basis.
Bidders must hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration in category C-6 or above, with specialization codes EE11(i), EE11(ii), or EE11(iii) related to solar energy systems. Firms should be active on the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Active Taxpayer List (ATL) and have completed at least three similar assignments with a minimum turnover of PKR 10.5 million in the last three financial years. Additional certifications such as AEDB, ISO, dealership, warehouse, and battery certificates are mandatory to meet regulatory and quality standards.
The submission deadline is set for 03 February 2026 at 11:00 AM, with tender opening scheduled the same day at 12:00 PM. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the office of the Assistant Director Local Government & Rural Development Washuk. Tender documents are available for PKR 1,000, and bid security of 2% must be provided via bank guarantee or call deposit receipt. Interested bidders should ensure timely submission to avoid disqualification.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the tender advertisement for specific stamp duty and authorization letter requirements, as these are commonly overlooked and can lead to bid rejection. Also, ensure all technical and financial documents are complete and properly attested to streamline the evaluation process.
