Tender Description
This tender invites qualified contractors in Thatta, Sindh, under the Executive Engineer, Thatta Drainage Division Thatta, for a major infrastructure project involving a sustainable storm water drainage system upstream of Kotri Barrage on the left side of Taluka Hyderabad Deh Shah Bukhari Mirzapur. The project falls under Road & Infrastructure Works & Materials, Power, Electrical & Solar Equipment, and Construction & Civil Works Materials categories.
The scope includes earthworks for leading channels, construction of a pumping station with civil, electrical, and mechanical components, complete solarization of maintenance quarters, inlet structures, village road bridges, water course aqueducts, and installation of an 800mm diameter rising main pipeline. Bidders must hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration in category C-3 or above with relevant discipline codes CE04, CE08, CE09, or CE10. They must be registered with tax authorities including NTN and Sindh Revenue Board, and provide evidence of similar experience with at least one project of 80% or two projects of 50% of the estimated cost completed in the last three years. Bid security of 5% of the estimated cost is mandatory, and an Integrity Pact must be signed for contracts exceeding PKR 10 million. Compliance with FBR/ATL and PEC requirements for the fiscal year 2025-26 is essential.
The submission deadline is set for 20th January 2026 at 01:00 PM, with bid opening at 02:00 PM the same day at the Office of the Executive Engineer, Thatta Drainage Division Thatta at Makli. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked as Technical and Financial Proposals. Tender documents are available on the EPADS website with a non-refundable fee of PKR 3,000.
