Tender Description
This tender invites qualified suppliers to provide furnace oil to Pakistan Ordnance Factories located in Wah Cantt and Havelian Cantt, Punjab. The procurement is managed by Pakistan Ordnance Factories and falls under the Fuel & Gas Cylinders category, reflecting the critical nature of fuel supply for industrial operations in these cities.
The scope includes supply of furnace oil with viscosity not exceeding 600 seconds at 50Β°C, meeting DEF-2406'A' Grade 125/50 specifications. Delivery is required immediately to POF Wah Cantt and Havelian Cantt, ensuring uninterrupted fuel availability for manufacturing processes. Suppliers must comply with technical and commercial bid requirements, submitting detailed technical literature and commercial pricing separately. The tender emphasizes quality assurance, warranty certificates, and adherence to delivery schedules, highlighting the operational importance of timely and quality fuel supply.
Bidders should ensure registration with relevant authorities, including PEC and FBR, and must be on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) for the fiscal year 2025-26. Sales tax registration, NTN, and professional tax clearance certificates are mandatory. The tender also requires submission of bid security and tender fee, with clear instructions on performance bonds and penalties for delayed delivery. Firms registered with SECP will be preferred, and all documentation must be complete to avoid disqualification.
The submission deadline is set for 26-March-2026 at 12:00 hours, with bids to be submitted both electronically via www.ebidding.pof.gov.pk and in sealed hard copy envelopes at the Bid Centre adjacent to Rabita Hall, POF Wah Cantt. Tender opening will be conducted publicly, allowing bidders or their authorized representatives to attend. All submissions must be received 30 minutes prior to opening to be considered valid.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid includes the original bid security and tender fee instruments on the day of opening, as missing these often leads to rejection. Also, carefully follow the two-envelope system to avoid disqualification, and verify all tax and registration documents are current and attached.
