Tender Document
Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the supply of furniture, office equipment, IT equipment, and solar system components for the Support Centre for Dental and Surgical Implants (SCDS) project located in Sialkot. The project aims to enhance Pakistan's surgical sector by providing high precision and sensitive products, supporting export promotion and localization efforts. The scope covers multiple lots including furniture and fixtures, various office and IT equipment, and solar power systems, ensuring a comprehensive upgrade of the facility's infrastructure and operational capabilities.
Bidders must be original manufacturers, authorized distributors, suppliers, contractors, or service providers registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments. The procurement follows a single stage single envelope procedure, requiring submission of both technical and financial proposals in one sealed envelope. The bidding documents are available for purchase at the TUSDEC Head Office in Lahore upon payment of a non-refundable fee of PKR 1,500. Bid security must be submitted in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR), bank draft, or pay order in favor of Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company.
Interested parties should ensure compliance with PEC categories relevant to their supply items and maintain active FBR/ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26. This is crucial to avoid disqualification and to meet government procurement regulations. Bidders are advised to carefully review all tender documents and ensure all submissions are accurate and complete to avoid rejection.
The deadline for bid submission is on the 4th of February, 2026, by 11:00 AM via the E-PADS online portal. Bids will be opened the same day at 12:00 PM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives at the TUSDEC Head Office, State Cement Corporation Building, Kot Lakhpat, Lahore. All correspondence and submissions should be directed to this address.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to verify the Earnest Money requirements and the exact format of the Call Deposit Receipt as specified in the bidding documents. Many bidders overlook the stamp duty and validity period of the CDR, which can lead to disqualification. Also, keep an eye on the PPRA website for any amendments or clarifications issued during the bidding period.
