Tender Description
Sindh Bank Limited Karachi invites bids for the supply of grocery items for its Head Office and other departments under the category of Food & Catering. This procurement is managed by Sindh Bank Limited and targets vendors capable of supplying quality grocery products for the financial year 2026-27.
The scope includes daily supply of essential grocery items such as milk, tea bags, sugar, coffee, dish wash soap, tissue products, and hand wash refills. The items must meet best quality standards with brands like Nestle, Tapal, Vim, and Lifebuoy or their equivalents. The contract is extendable for three additional years on the same terms and conditions. Delivery will be made to the Head Office located at Federation House, Abdullah Shah Ghazi Road, Clifton, Karachi. Vendors must submit samples for approval by the Head of Administration at the time of bid submission.
Bidders must comply with Sindh Bank's eligibility criteria including valid NTN, GST, and Sindh Revenue Board registrations. Blacklisting affidavits and proof of prior experience in similar supply contracts are mandatory. The bid security is 5% of the estimated cost, payable via CDR, bank guarantee, demand draft, or pay order. The bid validity period is 90 days. The procurement follows the Sindh Procurement Authority Act 2010 and Rules, with a single stage one envelope bidding procedure.
The submission deadline is set for 02 April 2026 at 10:45 AM, with bid opening at 11:15 AM the same day at Sindh Bank's Head Office. Bids must be submitted online via the e-Procurement System (EPADS) portal. The contract award will be based on the most advantageous bid considering quality and price, not necessarily the lowest bid. Performance security of 5% of contract value is required from the successful bidder.
