This tender invites bids for the modernization, expansion, rehabilitation, and upgradation of the existing Pakistan Railways Hospital at Sukkur to a 500-bed multi-specialty hospital. The project includes design, construction, financing, operation, and maintenance of the hospital and optional medical college facilities on a Public Private Partnership (PPP) basis under a Rehabilitate-Upgrade-Operate-Transfer (RUOT) model. The contract period is 33 years including 2 years construction and 1 year grace period. The private partner will pay a gross revenue share to Pakistan Railways and is required to develop a Health Information Management System and medical waste disposal system.
