3 Phase Heavy Duty UPS of 80 kVA

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) Islamabad is procuring a 3 Phase Heavy Duty UPS of 80 kVA to support its power backup needs. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and is being conducted under the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 platform. Items being procured: - Heavy Duty UPS - 3 Phase - 80 kVA (quantity: 1) - Lithium-ion Battery with integrated Battery Management System (BMS), complete battery bank with 20 safety enclosure and all required accessories - Installation, Testing, Commissioning and necessary required services for the UPS The UPS system must be a true online double conversion type with input voltage of 380V to 415V, input current of 120 A per phase, frequency of 50 Hz, and power factor between 0.9 to 1. The system includes 2 strings with safety metal boxes and lithium-ion batteries providing a backup time of 20 minutes at full load. The UPS should be from reputed manufacturers such as APC or Eaton and must comply with ISO 9001 and IEC/CE or equivalent certifications. Eligible bidders must have experience in supply, installation, and commissioning of similar UPS systems of 80 kVA or above within the last five years. They must provide OEM authorization, product certifications, and warranty of at least 3 years. Local technical support and after-sales service with trained staff and availability of spare parts are mandatory. The bid security must be submitted as a pay order, and bids must be submitted online through EPADS v2.0 by the deadline. The bid submission deadline is Monday, August 17, 2026 at 10:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 11:00 AM. Manual submissions are not accepted. The technical and financial bids will be evaluated based on QCBS criteria. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance guarantee of 10% of the contract price.
