Tender Description
Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Ltd. invites quotations for the making of a 3D wooden model of a 30 mm Aselson Gun specifically for PNS Sahiwal. This procurement is based in Karachi and involves detailed craftsmanship to produce a precise wooden replica as per the specifications outlined by the department.
The scope of work includes the complete fabrication of the 3D wooden model on a lump sum basis, inclusive of all applicable taxes such as GST, SST, SRB, E-Stamp, and Income Tax. The work must be executed by a qualified sub-contractor with all necessary tools, equipment, and skilled workforce. The contractor is responsible for compliance with quality, health, safety, and security standards, including adherence to KS&EW policies and rules.
Interested bidders should be registered with FBR and have relevant experience in similar technical works. The quotation must remain valid for 60 days, and a performance bond or bank guarantee at 5% of the contract value is required. The contractor must also provide medical treatment coverage for their workforce and bear liability in case of accidents.
The tender documents and pre-qualification forms are available for new or pre-qualified firms. Quotations must be submitted by 02-06-2026 before 1100 hours and will be opened the same day at 1130 hours at the office of Development & Sub-Contract. The submission deadline and address are critical to observe to avoid disqualification.
A practical tip for bidders is to physically visit KS&EW offices during working hours before bidding to validate the work scope and obtain all necessary information. This ensures clarity and reduces the risk of errors in the technical bid, improving chances of successful contract award.
