Tender Description
Sukkur IBA University invites bids for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a 50kW Hybrid Solar Power System at its Kandhkot Campus in Sukkur, Sindh. This project involves the complete setup of solar PV modules, mounting structures, hybrid inverters, DC and AC cabling, distribution boards, earthing systems, lightning protection, and net metering services. The scope includes civil works for mounting structures, electrical works, and coordination with utility authorities for grid connection and net metering approval.
The technical scope requires Tier-1 solar panels with high efficiency, anodized aluminum mounting systems, and advanced hybrid inverters supporting multiple battery chemistries. The installation must comply with international standards and include all accessories for full system functionality. The project duration is 4 months with a 12-month defect liability period.
Eligible bidders must hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council license in category C-6 or above with relevant electrical codes, be registered with FBR and have active taxpayer status. Experience in similar solar installation projects with satisfactory completion certificates is mandatory. Bidders must submit a bid security of PKR 250,000 and comply with all technical and financial requirements outlined in the tender documents.
Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS by the specified deadline. The technical proposal will be evaluated first, and only technically qualified bids will have their financial proposals opened. The bid validity period is 90 days. The procuring agency reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning reasons.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all technical documentation, including detailed manufacturing processes, equipment lists, and project schedules, are complete and clearly presented in the technical proposal to avoid disqualification. Also, verify bid submission on EPADS to confirm inclusion in the bid opening list. The submission deadline and bid opening venue are at Sukkur IBA University, Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui Road, Sukkur. This tender offers a significant opportunity for qualified firms to participate in a high-profile renewable energy project with a reputable academic institution in Sindh.
