Tender Description
This tender invites qualified firms to supply a 90 HP Mercury Outboard Motor Engine complete with standard accessories to the Directorate of Procurement (Navy) in Islamabad. The procurement falls under the Vehicles & Auto Parts category and is managed by the Directorate of Procurement (Navy), a key department responsible for naval equipment acquisition in the capital territory.
The scope includes the delivery of a 90 HP EFI 4-stroke Mercury outboard engine with hydraulic power steering and a 20-inch shaft length. The engine must meet OEM specifications and include throttle control, tachometer, and engine harness. The supply will be inspected by the Chief Inspector of Naval Stores (CINS) and must comply with technical scrutiny requirements. Delivery is expected within six months, and the contract will be awarded on a FOR basis with prices quoted in Pakistani Rupees.
Bidders must ensure compliance with DGDP registration, Active Taxpayers List (ATL) status, and provide all mandatory documentation including treasury challan, earnest money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR), and technical offers in duplicate. The tender requires firms to be registered or willing to register with DGDP and to submit valid NTN, sales tax, and income tax certificates. The bid validity period is 120 days from the commercial offer opening date or until 30th June, whichever is later.
The submission deadline is set for 17th March 2026 at 10:30 AM, with technical bids opening at 11:00 AM the same day. Offers must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Directorate of Procurement (Navy) office located at Bahria Gate, Near SNIDS Centre, Naval Residential Complex, E-8, Islamabad. Late submissions will not be entertained.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your Earnest Money Call Deposit Receipt is properly attached and the amount is concealed with a black marker as required. Missing or improper earnest money is a common cause for immediate rejection. Also, double-check that all forms DP-1, DP-2, and DP-3 are duly signed and stamped to avoid disqualification.
