Tender Description
The Urban Planning and Development Department Quetta Division is involved in the procurement for the construction and improvement of access and internal roads in Killi Churmiyan, Pishin. This tender focuses on road and infrastructure works aimed at enhancing connectivity and transportation within the area.
The technical scope includes the construction and rehabilitation of roads, involving earthworks, pavement laying, and related civil works to ensure durable and safe road infrastructure. The project is significant for local development and requires contractors with relevant PEC registration in road works and proven experience in similar projects.
Bidders must be registered with FBR and appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Experience in executing government road projects will be a key eligibility criterion. The tender process includes submission of a Technical Bid and Financial Bid, along with Earnest Money in the form of a CDR as per the tender documents.
Although the original tender has been cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances, interested contractors should monitor the Urban Planning and Development Department Quetta Division for re-issuance or future opportunities. The submission deadline was originally set for 11 June 2026, with bids to be submitted at the department's office in Quetta.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all documentation, including PEC certificates, FBR registration, and financial statements, are up to date and properly attested. This will facilitate smoother evaluation and reduce the risk of disqualification. Staying in close contact with the department for any updates on re-tendering is also advisable to avoid missing deadlines.
