Acidity Testing Set for Transformer Oil

The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) invites bids for the procurement of an Acidity Testing Set for transformer oil, to be delivered and installed at the Transformer Reclamation Workshop in Multan. This procurement is under the financial year 2026-27 and follows the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method through the EPADS v2.0 platform. Items being procured: - Acidity Testing Set (1 unit) The Acidity Testing Set is designed to determine the Neutralization Number (NN) or Total Acid Number (TAN) of insulating oil in transformers according to international standards ASTM D974, IEC 62021 & ASTM D664. The technical specifications include potentiometric titration or color indicator titration methods, measurement range of 0.001 to 1.0 mg KOH/g, accuracy of 0.01 mg KOH/g or better, digital LCD or touch screen display for automatic models, thermal printer, and rechargeable battery. Standard accessories include titration vessel, burette or automatic titration unit, magnetic stirrer, electrodes, reagent bottles, pipettes, calibration solution, and user manual. Eligible bidders must comply with PEC category requirements, be registered with FBR and ATL, and provide all necessary certificates including bid security and integrity pact. The bid validity period is 90 days, and bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by August 6, 2026, 10:45 AM. Manual submissions are not accepted. The bid opening will be on the same day at 11:15 AM. The delivery period is within 90 days or earlier, with inspection charges of 0.5% payable by the supplier. The supplier is responsible for installation, commissioning, and training of TRW staff.
