Acquisition and Disposal System for Laboratory Chemicals, Medical Supplies and Equipment

Benazir Bhutto Shaheed (DHQ) Teaching Hospital Abbottabad is procuring an extensive range of laboratory chemicals, medical supplies, and equipment for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement includes laboratory chemicals, kits, reagents, apparatus, bedding and clothing, disposable medical items such as ECG rolls and surgical blades, spare parts for medical and surgical equipment, medical gases including oxygen and nitrous oxide cylinders, boiler chemicals, washing items, stationery, printing and publication materials, sanitation items, and local purchase of medicines, vaccines, and surgical disposables for various patient categories. The procurement is managed by the Medical Superintendent of BBS (DHQ) Teaching Hospital Abbottabad. The scope covers supply and disposal system services through an e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (E-PADS) platform. Eligible firms must be registered with FBR for Income Tax and Sales Tax and must be financially sound and reputable. For medicines, vaccines, and surgical disposables, bidders must be registered chemists and druggists with valid retail drug licenses. Registration with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) is also mandatory. The tender follows a Single Stage - Single Envelope Bidding Method, with bids to be submitted electronically by 15 July 2026 at 12:30 PM. Original CDRs for each item or work must reach the office before the bid opening date and time. Bids will be opened electronically on the same day in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. The quoted rates will remain valid until 30 June 2027 or until the finalization of the tender for the next financial year, whichever is earlier. Bidders should ensure their technical and financial bids are complete and uploaded correctly on the E-PADS system. A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare the Earnest Money in the form of Call Deposit Receipts (CDRs) as per the specified amounts for each item to avoid disqualification.
