Tender Description
Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) invites sealed bids from eligible manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors, suppliers, or firms for the upgradation of its Air Compressor Test Bench at Taxila. Procurement will be conducted in accordance with the applicable PPRA and Ministry of Defence Production rules and the requirements of the Standard Bidding Document.
Mandatory item or lot: Sr. 1, Tender No. IT-7166; nomenclature: Upgradation of Air Compressor Test Bench; A/U: Attached at Annexure A; quantity: 1 requirement; delivery period: 03 months after signing of the contract. The detailed technical specifications, scope of work, and applicable requirements are contained in Annexure A and the tender documents. Interested firms should review the complete technical requirements before preparing their bids and should ensure that proposed equipment, services, integration, testing, and commissioning comply with the stated specifications.
Eligible bidders must possess a valid National Tax Number and Sales Tax Registration where applicable, and must satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed in the SBD. The submission checklist requires registration, pre-qualification, or indexation evidence where applicable; attested Sales Tax and NTN certificates; audit reports for the last three financial years; an attested bank statement for the last year; the CEO or Director CNIC; evidence of the trade link with the OEM for distributors or agents; a non-blacklisting certificate on **Rs. 100** judicial paper; documentary evidence of relevant contracts or government experience during the last three financial years; and a **Rs. 2,000** postal order in favour of Director Supply Chain Management Directorate, HIT Taxila.
Tender documents may be collected until **02 September 2026 at 10:30 hours**. Sealed bids must be submitted by **02 September 2026 at 11:00 hours**, with opening information available through the PPRA website. Bids should be addressed or delivered to the Supply Chain Management Directorate, HIT Taxila, using the prescribed sealed-bid procedure.
