Tender Description
This tender from the Food Directorate Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Peshawar calls for the supply of approximately 4,000 Kg of Ammonium Phosphate Tablets. These tablets are essential for protecting government wheat stocks stored in various provincial reserve centers across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, ensuring food security and stock preservation.
The supply involves delivering Ammonium Phosphate tablets packed in ammonium flasks containing bottles, each sealed with airtight, non-reactive plastic polythene and standard manufacturer packaging. The packaging must withstand transit hazards by rail and road, with clear marking as per Agriculture Pesticide Rules 1973. The tablets will be arranged within 15 days of demand placement and quality checked at P.C.S.I.R Laboratory Peshawar or Tarnab Farm. This procurement requires adherence to Agriculture Pesticides Ordinance 1971 and related amendments.
Bidders should be registered with the Federal or Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Government under Agriculture Pesticides Ordinance. The tender demands a 5% earnest money in the form of call deposit or bank draft, refundable to unsuccessful bidders. The successful bidder must execute an agreement within 15 days and deposit 10% security amount. All government taxes including income tax, general sales tax, and stamp duty will be recovered as per prescribed rates. This tender is ideal for firms familiar with PEC regulations and FBR/ATL compliance for the fiscal year 2025-26.
The submission deadline is set for 18th February 2026 at 10:00 AM, with bid opening at 11:00 AM via E-PADS. Original call deposit receipts must be submitted at least 30 minutes before opening. Physical submissions and inquiries can be made at the Food Directorate office, Haji Camp Adda, GT Road, Peshawar.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) is submitted timely and check the newspaper advertisement for any specific stamp duty requirements, which are often overlooked and can lead to disqualification.
