Tender Description

The Public Health Engineering Division Swabi, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is procuring AM&R Electrical and Mechanical works for Water Supply Schemes located in the PHE Sub-Divisions of Swabi and Lahor. This tender invites eligible firms and contractors to participate in the rehabilitation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical components essential for water supply infrastructure in these areas. The technical scope includes the supply and installation of electrical and mechanical equipment, repair works, and maintenance services for water supply schemes. The works cover electrical wiring, pump repairs, mechanical fittings, and related components to ensure efficient water distribution. The project demands specialized expertise in electrical and mechanical works related to water supply systems. Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) under relevant codes such as CE 09, ME05, ME06, ME07, EE 04, EE 05, EE 11 (Solar), and EE 11 (General Electrical Works). Additionally, registration with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) and Provincial Enlistment Committee is mandatory. Bidders should have a minimum of three years of satisfactory experience in similar works and must submit an Electric Inspector Certificate Class-E issued by the Electric Inspector Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Ownership of a local workshop within District Swabi jurisdiction is also required, supported by a certificate and affidavit. The tender documents can be obtained from the office of the Executive Engineer PHE Division Swabi upon payment of a non-refundable CDR of Rs. 2,000. Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS by 29th June 2026 at 10:00 AM. The technical bids will be opened the same day at 10:30 AM. Earnest Money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) is required with the bid. Incomplete or conditional bids will be rejected. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all documents, especially the technical proposal, are complete and free from overwriting or disfiguring to avoid disqualification. Timely submission through EPADS and strict adherence to the KP-PPRA rules will enhance the chances of success in this competitive tender.
