Tender Description
The Livestock and Dairy Development Department Quetta invites bids from eligible bidders for the supply of Animal Food and Medicine. This procurement is conducted under the Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014. Items being procured:
- Animal Food & Medicine (Total Items Count: 18)
Procurements shall be made under strict compliance with the Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have assignments of similar nature and complexity worth 10,000,000 PKR in the previous 1 year and a turnover of at least 30,000,000 PKR in the subsequent previous years. Bidders must be active taxpayers with valid sales tax certificates and must not be blacklisted by any procuring agency of Pakistan. Joint ventures are not permitted. Submission of bid security of 2,000,000 PKR in the form of a bank guarantee or deposit at call is mandatory.
Tender documents can be obtained electronically from www.bppra.gob.pk. Complete bidding documents are available for viewing at the same website. Bids must be submitted electronically only through the supplier dashboard by 25 September 2026 at 01:30 PM. Tender opening will be held the same day at 02:30 PM on the EPPS system. All tenders will be opened on the EPPS system.
The veterinary vaccine supplied must comply with the Drugs Act 1976 and related regulations. Supplies must be labeled and packed according to the Drugs (Labeling and Packing) Rule 1986. The firm must provide a valid or renewed copy of the Drug Sale License and Import License. Any substandard or spurious supply will be rejected and may lead to legal action by the department. The firm must agree unconditionally to all terms and conditions specified in the bidding documents and contract agreement.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your FBR registration and active taxpayer status are current and verifiable before submission. Also, carefully prepare your bid security in the specified form to avoid disqualification.
