Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) invites reputable firms to submit bids for an annual contract for hiring services of vendors for events organized by the Media Public Relation & Publication Department, KMC, Karachi. Items being procured: - Sound system including Eco Chamber microphones, VIP desk speakers, amplifiers, large and additional speakers, microphones, pianist, guitarist, orchestra, drummer, musical band, DVD player with laptop, SMD walls (10x20 and 12x8), LCD screens (49" and 62"), multimedia projector sets (3200 and 4000 lumens), standby generators (2.5 K.V, 5 K.V, 15 K.V), transport charges - Electrical items including various wattage search lights, halogen green lights, hanger tubes, LED lights, color bulb chains, pedestal fans, open bulbs, tube lights, generators with fuel, conveyance per trip, chili lights, LED spot lights, parcans lights, LED bulb chains - Catering services covering multiple menu options for refreshments, light refreshments, food menus including mutton biryani, chicken curry, nan taftan, salads, sweet dishes, lunch boxes, additional food items like chicken tikka, fish fried, mutton chop, kababs, haleem, continental salad bar, beverages, and per person decoration - Decoration items including flags of different sizes, pana flex banners, play cards, pole banners, backdrops, shamiyana tents, tables, takhat, red dari, carpets, wooden sofas, acrylic chairs, presidential chairs, VIP aluminum sofa sets, center tables, rostrum, water coolers, wash basins, wash tanks, chandni chaddar, chairs with covers, marcy/daira tents (large and small, with and without air conditioning), pool covers, plates, glass, stair paneling, fans, air conditioners, conveyance trucks and suzuki, furniture decoration The scope of work includes provision and management of sound, electrical, catering, and decoration services for KMC events. The contract duration is 12 months with a penalty of Rs. 1,000 per day for delays, up to 10% of the contract value. The contractor must comply with all specifications and standards as per the bidding documents and ensure quality and timely delivery. Eligibility criteria include valid NTN, sales tax registration, professional tax, bid security of Rs. 16,50,000/- (5% of estimated cost), tender fee of Rs. 5,000/-, minimum 3 years relevant experience, satisfactory past performance with KMC, financial turnover not less than bid amount for last 3 years, no blacklisting, and no ongoing litigation.
