Annual Contract for Recycling of HT/LT Mixed Damaged into New Paper Cover Copper Strip 4x5mm (50 & 200kVA)

The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) is inviting bids for an annual contract for recycling of HT/LT mixed damaged copper winding scrap into new paper cover copper strips of size 4x5mm for 50 & 200kVA transformers. This procurement is specific to MEPCO's regional stores in Multan, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, and D.G. Khan. Items being procured: - Annual contract for recycling of HT/LT mixed damaged copper winding scrap into new paper cover copper strips 4x5mm (50 & 200kVA) with a quantity of 18,468 Kg The contract is based on free delivery at consignee's stores (FCS) inclusive of all taxes, duties, 0.5% inspection charges, and GST. The specification follows NTDC standard BS-4653-II, 1970 (amended to date). The contract duration is one year from the date of issuance of the purchase order, with a possible extension of up to six months upon mutual consent. Technical scope includes recycling of copper winding scrap "as is where is" basis, with the supplier responsible for pick and drop at concerned regional stores. The scrap will be issued in lots subject to availability and requirement, and the new material must be delivered within 45 days from the lifting date of scrap. The quantity and size of scrap/new material can be adjusted as per the end user's requirements. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have valid PEC registration, FBR/ATL registration, and a satisfactory supply record with MEPCO or other DISCOs. Bidders must submit bid security and performance guarantee as per tender requirements. The bid security must be submitted physically before the bid submission deadline, and bids must be submitted online through EPADS v2.0.
