Annual Repair and Maintenance Works at Student Hostels during Summer Break 2026 at NUST H-12 Islamabad

The Works Directorate of the National University of Science & Technology (NUST) in Islamabad Capital Territory invites sealed bids for the Annual Repair and Maintenance Works at Student Hostels during the Summer Break 2026 at NUST H-12, Islamabad. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 under contract reference P79810. The scope includes comprehensive renovation and maintenance of student hostels, focusing on civil works, electrical installations, plumbing, and finishing works to ensure the hostels are in optimal condition for the upcoming academic year. Items being procured: - Renovation of community washrooms at Zainab Hostel including tile and marble work, demolition of concrete, dismantling of corrugated sheets, PCC laying, woodwork, marble slab fixing, mirror installation, demolition of walls, tile laying, supply and fixing of water closets (European and Asiatic patterns), wall shower sets, stainless steel sinks, vanity bowls, floor traps, casted gratings, exhaust fans, hat and coat hooks, LED lighting fixtures, switches, wiring, toilet paper holders, door chowkats, uPVC doors, soft wood framed doors, dampa ceiling installation, cement plastering, distempering, uPVC soil and waste pipes, PPR pipes, fittings, soap trays, staircases, towel rails, balancing valves, marble tiles, mosaic tiles, artificial stone facade tiles, reinforcement bars, RCC works, tile grouting, fiberglass sheet fixing, internal painting and distempering of multiple hostels. The technical scope covers all civil, electrical, and plumbing works as per the detailed specifications and market rates provided. The works are to be executed in occupied hostels with minimal disturbance to residents and university operations. Bidders must comply with PEC registration, FBR/NTN registration, and submit a 2% bid security along with a Rs 3,000 tender fee. The contract duration is 150 days with commencement expected on September 19, 2026. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by 02:00 PM on August 19, 2026, with bid opening at 02:30 PM the same day. Manual submissions are not accepted. Bid security in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, or Bank Guarantee must be submitted physically to the Works Directorate at NUST H-12, Islamabad. The evaluation will follow the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Performance security of 10% of contract price will be required from the successful bidder.
