Tender Description
This tender invites qualified firms to provide professional services for the assessment and valuation of serviceable, unserviceable, and scrap materials located at various MEPCO stores across Multan and surrounding regions. The Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO) requires expert evaluators registered with the State Bank of Pakistan and possessing relevant experience in electrical and industrial scrap material valuation. The scope includes data collection, inspection, verification, and transparent reporting of fair market values based on current market prices, depreciation, and industry standards.
The assessment will cover multiple distribution and warehouse stores in Multan, Khanewal, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, and other districts. Bidders are encouraged to visit these sites to understand the condition and quantity of materials before submitting bids. The evaluation methodology must be impartial and compliant with MEPCO's security protocols. The contract demands fixed pricing in Pakistani Rupees, with a bid security of PKR 30,000 and a bid validity of 90 days.
Bidders must be registered evaluators with the State Bank of Pakistan, hold valid NTN and tax registrations, and not be blacklisted. PEC registration is not explicitly required, but bidders should ensure compliance with FBR and ATL status for FY 2025-26. The tender follows a single-stage one-envelope procedure via the EPADS online portal.
The submission deadline is on the 5th of March, 2026, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 11:30 AM at MEPCO's procurement office on Khanewal Road, Multan. Bidders must submit original bid security documents physically before the deadline and upload scanned copies online. The contract performance guarantee is 5% of the contract value, payable via bank guarantee.
Pro-Tip: Ensure timely submission of original bid security in the correct format to avoid disqualification. Also, carefully review the detailed bidding documents on EPADS and MEPCO's website for any addenda or clarifications before submitting your bid.
