Tender Description
This tender invites qualified contractors and consultants in Lahore to undertake the supply, installation, and commissioning of HT & LT electrical equipment along with a comprehensive fire detection, alarm, and suppression system at the NLC Logistic Park located on Multan Road. The scope includes pad and pole mounted transformers, HT switches, cables, earthing sets, and associated civil works such as foundation preparation and trench excavation. Additionally, consultancy services for the design and supervision of fire hydrant, sprinkler, and detection systems compliant with NFPA standards are required.
The project demands adherence to WAPDA specifications for electrical materials and LESCO standards for substation construction. The site's location on Multan Road presents logistical challenges requiring careful planning for cable laying and structural installations. The fire system design must incorporate hydraulic calculations, seismic bracing, and water load assessments to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
Bidders should possess valid PEC registration in relevant categories and maintain an active FBR ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26. Earnest Money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) is mandatory. Technical and financial bids will be evaluated separately, emphasizing compliance with specifications and cost-effectiveness.
Submission deadline is set for 23:59:59 on the closing date, with bid opening scheduled shortly after at the NLC office on Multan Road. All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes as per the tender instructions. Interested parties should ensure timely delivery to avoid disqualification.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the newspaper advertisement for specific stamp duty and Earnest Money requirements, as these are frequently overlooked and can lead to bid rejection. Also, verify all technical specifications against the latest WAPDA amendments to avoid non-compliance issues.
