NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Marine Fisheries Department under the Ministry of Maritime Affairs is conducting an open auction for the disposal of condemned vehicles and motor bikes at Fish Harbour, West Wharf, Karachi. The auction is scheduled for 25th September 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Interested bidders can inspect the vehicles from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on working days prior to the auction. Items being auctioned: - Daihatsu Cuore, Registration No. GP-7811, Model 2008, Complete file/Off Road - Suzuki Mehran, Registration No. GP-7458, Complete file/Off Road - Suzuki Van, Registration No. GP-5091, Model 1982, Certificate of Registration/Off Road - Datsun Pickup, Registration No. MNK-8078, Model 1981, Certificate of Registration/Off Road - Toyota Mace, Registration No. IDF-5221, Model 1993, D.O letter (Ministry)/Off Road - Honda Motor Bike, Registration No. KDP-1445, Model 2006, Complete file/Off Road - Honda Motor Bike, Registration No. KMD-0761, Model 2018, Complete file/Off Road - Honda Motor Bike, Registration No. KAM-3147, Model 1981, Registration Form-I/Off Road The auction is conducted on an 'as is where is basis'. Bidders must bring their original CNIC and submit a copy along with a pay order or demand draft of Rs. 10,000 as token money in the name of the Director General Marine Fisheries Department. No person will be allowed to participate without this deposit. The highest bidder must deposit 25% earnest money on the spot, failing which the bid will be rejected and the token money forfeited. The remaining bid amount plus government taxes must be paid within fifteen days after approval, or a 5% ground rent will be charged for up to 20 days before forfeiture. All outstanding taxes and transfer expenses are the responsibility of the successful bidder. Vehicles will be handed over after full payment and transfer of ownership from the concerned authorities. The Marine Fisheries Department reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and withdraw any vehicle before the auction without assigning reasons. The Auction Committee's decision is final. Bidders are advised to carefully inspect the vehicles and ensure compliance with all terms. Timely submission of required documents and earnest money will facilitate smooth participation in the auction.
