Tender Description
NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights.
The National Highway Authority (NHA) invites interested bidders to participate in the auction of a damaged pedestrian bridge dismantled from Khyber KM 193+000-194+000 (N-5). The bridge, weighing approximately 12 tons, is currently placed on the NHA plot at Hatri, adjacent to Hatri Police Station, Hyderabad Bypass Road, Hyderabad. This auction is managed by the NHA Maintenance Unit at Hyderabad.
Items being auctioned:
- Damaged Pedestrian Bridge (approx. 12 Ton)
Bidders are encouraged to visit the site and office for inspection between 07-09-2026 and 20-09-2026 on working days from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM. The office for visits and inquiries is located at the NHA Complex near New Toll Plaza, Jamshoro. Contact the Deputy Director (Maintenance) at 0300-3011957 for further details.
Application forms and bidding documents can be obtained from the Administration Wing of NHA on any working day during office hours upon submission of a written request and payment of Rs. 2,000/- (non-refundable) in favor of National Highway Authority.
Bids must be submitted with a pay order equal to 25% of the total bid amount as security deposit in the name of National Highway Authority. The bids should reach the office by 12:00 PM on September 21, 2026. The bid opening will take place the same day at 12:30 PM in the Conference Room of the NHA Regional Office (Sindh-South) Karachi, in the presence of bidders.
The successful bidder will bear all expenses including loading, unloading, and NHA weigh station charges for actual weight verification. Payment will be made on a per kilogram basis as per the official weight receipt from the NHA Weigh Station at Hatri.
All applicable government taxes will be charged according to prevailing rates for filers and non-filers. NHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per PPRA rules.
Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents and ensure timely submission of bids. Early site visits and thorough inspection will help in accurate bid preparation and compliance with auction terms.
