AUCTION: Disposal of Medical Equipment at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences Islamabad

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Islamabad, invites interested eligible individuals and firms to participate in an open auction conducted through the PPRA e-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (E-PADs) 2.0 for the disposal of medical equipment on an 'AS IS, WHERE IS' basis. The auction is being held by the Purchase Department of PIMS, located in Sector G-8/3, Islamabad. Items being auctioned include: - Lot 1: 64 Slice Helical CT Scan Angiography (Model Somatom) without Medtron Injektron CT2-ELS/Injector, Color Printer & UPS with a reserve price of Rs. 2,000,000 - Lot 2: Dismantled Phillips Angiography Machine (Allure XPER FD-10) without Angiomat Illumena PED Injector & UPS 120(KVA) with a reserve price of Rs. 1,350,000 The auctioned equipment is available for inspection at the Storekeeper Condemnation, PIMS during working hours until 21st August 2026. Bidders must obtain a tender receipt costing Rs. 2000 per lot from the Accounts Department upon submission of a written request on company letterhead duly signed and stamped. Manual bids will not be accepted; all bids must be submitted electronically via EPADs 2.0. Bidders are required to submit a Pay Order as Bid Security for each lot in favor of the Executive Director, PIMS. An original Bid Security and a Stamp Paper of at least Rs. 100 must be submitted physically at the Purchase Department on the bid opening date by 11:00 AM. The equipment shall not be sold below the reserve price, exclusive of all applicable taxes. The successful bidder must deposit the awarded amount along with taxes within seven working days of the Letter of Award issuance. Failure to deposit will result in cancellation and forfeiture of the bid security. The bid submission deadline is 22nd August 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day. PIMS reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal as per PPRA Rules 2004. For bidders, a practical tip is to ensure timely registration and submission through the EPADs 2.0 portal to avoid disqualification due to manual submission or late bids.
