Tender Description
This auction notice from Pakistan Maritime Security Agency in Karachi invites bids for 02 fishing boats located at PMSS INDUS Plot No 34-A, Dockyard Road. The auction will be held on 30 January 2026 at 11:30 hrs. Interested parties can inspect the boats on 28 and 29 January between 10:00 and 14:00 hrs at the auction venue. Entry requires original CNIC and a non-refundable entry fee of PKR 1,000 per person.
The auction process demands bidders to submit separate bids for each boat. Successful bidders must pay 25% of the auctioned value in cash immediately, with the remaining 75% payable within 7 days. Failure to complete payment will result in forfeiture of the initial deposit. Full payment within the stipulated time allows immediate possession of the boats. Buyers are also responsible for applicable sales tax and income tax as per government regulations.
While this is an auction rather than a tender, compliance with tax regulations and timely payments is critical. The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or halt the auction without explanation. No photography or recording devices are allowed at the venue, and all participants must adhere to security protocols.
Bidders should prepare their bids carefully and ensure all documentation and payments are in order before the auction date. The physical presence at the venue is mandatory for participation. The auction offers a transparent opportunity to acquire maritime assets in Karachi under government supervision.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to bring the original CNIC and the exact entry fee in cash to avoid disqualification. Also, verify the tax obligations beforehand to avoid surprises after winning the bid.
