Tender Description
NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights.
Market Committee Sheikhupura invites open public auction bids for the lease rights (theka) of the Fruit and Vegetable Market Sheikhupura for the financial year 2026-2027. The auction will be held at the office of the Assistant Director Agriculture (SS), Sheikhupura, on 17.11.2026 at 12:00 PM. Interested parties are encouraged to participate as per the terms and conditions set by the Punjab Agriculture Marketing Regulatory Authority (PAMRA).
Items being auctioned:
- Lease rights for collection of market fees (Fruit and Vegetable Market Sheikhupura) for the period 01-07-2026 to 30-06-2027, with a reserve price of Rs. 16,600,000 and earnest money (10%) of Rs. 1,660,000
- Service charges for loading/unloading per 100 kg: Rs. 500 per trolley, Rs. 250 per pickup
- Entry fee per vehicle: Rs. 50 per vehicle per entry
- Advertisement charges per vehicle: Rs. 10 per vehicle per entry
- Balloon advertisement charges: Rs. 25,000 per balloon per year
The technical scope includes the exclusive right to collect the specified fees and charges from all vehicles and traders operating within the market premises during the lease period. The successful bidder will be responsible for compliance with all PAMRA regulations and must deposit the earnest money (10% of the reserve price) via pay order or CDR at the time of auction. Only those registered with FBR and on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) are eligible to participate. Bidders must bring original CNIC and proof of registration.
The deadline for submission of bids is 17.11.2026 at 12:00 PM at the office of the Assistant Director Agriculture (SS), Sheikhupura. The auction will be conducted in the presence of the committee and all interested parties.
