AUCTION: Lease Rights for Precious and Semi-Precious Gemstone Mining Blocks 2026-27

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Directorate General Mines and Minerals Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites eligible JV holders, companies, and permit holders to participate in the open auction for lease rights of precious and semi-precious gemstone mining blocks for the financial year 2026-27. The auction will be held at the Directorate's office in Peshawar, and successful bidders will obtain rights for extraction and commercialization of minerals in the specified blocks. Items being auctioned: - Block 1: Reserve Price Rs. 450,000,000, Earnest Money Rs. 45,000,000 - Block 2: Reserve Price Rs. 85,000,000, Earnest Money Rs. 8,500,000 - Block 3: Reserve Price Rs. 15,750,000, Earnest Money Rs. 1,575,000 - Block 4: Reserve Price Rs. 21,250,000, Earnest Money Rs. 2,125,000 - Block 5: Reserve Price Rs. 7,500,000, Earnest Money Rs. 750,000 - Block 6: Reserve Price Rs. 7,500,000, Earnest Money Rs. 750,000 - Block 7: Reserve Price Rs. 7,500,000, Earnest Money Rs. 750,000 - Block 8: Reserve Price Rs. 12,500,000, Earnest Money Rs. 1,250,000 - Block 9: Reserve Price Rs. 112,500,000, Earnest Money Rs. 11,250,000 - Block 10: Reserve Price Rs. 48,750,000, Earnest Money Rs. 4,875,000 - Block 11: Reserve Price Rs. 682,500,000, Earnest Money Rs. 68,250,000 - Block 12: Reserve Price Rs. 4,500,000, Earnest Money Rs. 450,000 Each block represents a distinct mining area with its own reserve price and earnest money requirement. The technical scope includes extraction of precious and semi-precious gemstones, with compliance to all regulatory and environmental standards. Only registered JV holders, companies, and permit holders are eligible to participate. Bidders must provide valid CDR/Bank Statement as proof of earnest money by 27-09-2026. The auction will be conducted on 29-09-2026 at 11:00 AM at the Directorate office in Peshawar. For submission, ensure all documents are complete and submitted before the deadline.
