AUCTION: Industrial Waste Material Dump Yard No:4 at Karachi Export Processing Zone

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA) invites interested parties to participate in a public auction for the sale of industrial waste material located at Dump Yard no:4 on an 'AS IS WHERE IS BASIS'. The auction will be held on 22-09-2026 at 2:30 pm at Karachi Export Processing Zone (KEPZ), Landhi Industrial Area, Karachi. The industrial waste can be inspected during office hours (9:30 am to 4:00 pm) on any working day prior to the auction. The waste material includes miscellaneous cloth cuttings, wood, plastic, paper cartons, and other industrial refuse. Items being auctioned: - Industrial waste material at Dump Yard no:4 Interested firms must submit a non-refundable participation fee of Rs:15,000 per lot on 22-09-2026. Only registered firms/participants are eligible to join the open auction scheduled for 21-09-2026. Bidders must include all government duties and taxes in their bids. The successful bidder is required to deposit an additional 35% share to EPZA and 10% Advance Withholding Tax as per Income Tax Ordinance 2001. A 25% advance payment is due immediately upon declaration of success at the auction. The remaining bid amount plus applicable taxes and EPZA's share must be paid before lifting the industrial waste. Failure to deposit the remaining amount within two days or to remove the waste within seven days will result in forfeiture of the bid amount and blacklisting from future auctions. No sorting or segregation of material is allowed before or after award. The successful bidder must remove all material from the dumping area and comply with EPZA requirements to avoid forfeiture of the security deposit. The Export Processing Zones Authority and Pakistan Customs reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids under Pakistan Customs Auction Rules. Bidders are advised to carefully inspect the material and ensure timely payments and removal to avoid penalties. Participation fees and earnest money must be prepared in advance to avoid disqualification.
