AUCTION: Industrial Waste Material Dump Yard No:3 at Karachi Export Processing Zone

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA) invites interested parties to participate in a public auction for the sale of industrial waste material located at Dump Yard No:3 on an 'AS IS WHERE IS BASIS'. The auction will be held on 24-09-2026 at 2:30 pm at Karachi Export Processing Zone (KEPZ), Landhi Industrial Area, Karachi. The industrial waste includes miscellaneous cloth cuttings, wood, plastic, paper cartons, and other materials lying in the dumping area of the zone. Inspection of the lots is allowed during office hours from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm on any working day. Items being auctioned: - Industrial waste material at Dump Yard No:3 including cloth cuttings - Wood - Plastic - Paper cartons Interested firms must submit participation fees of Rs. 15,000 per lot (non-refundable) by 23-09-2026. Only registered firms/participants are eligible to join the open auction. Bids must include all government duties and taxes. The successful bidder will deposit an additional 35% share to EPZA and 10% Advance Withholding Tax as per Income Tax Ordinance 2001. Immediate payment of 25% advance is required upon declaration of success in the auction. Remaining bid amount plus 10% withholding tax and 35% EPZA share must be paid within two days after award. Removal of industrial waste must be completed within seven days of award or the deposited amount will be forfeited and the bidder blacklisted. Terms include no sorting or segregation before or after award, removal of all material by the successful bidder, forfeiture of security deposit if wastage is not removed daily, and removal of entire material within 7 working days to avoid forfeiture and re-auction.
