NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Pakistan Post Metropolitan Circle Karachi is offering an open auction for disposal of three old/used vehicles. The auction will be conducted online through the PPRA Portal (E-PADS Version 2.0 System) on an 'as is, where is' basis. Bidders must participate online via their respective E-PADS accounts. The e-Auction process will close on 22-10-2026 at 11:00 AM and will open the same day at 11:30 AM. Manual bids will not be accepted. Items being auctioned: - Hino Truck, Engine Capacity: 111 HP, Model: 1986, Reserved Price: Rs. 400,000 - Shehzoor Truck, Engine Capacity: 2600 CC, Model: 2008, Reserved Price: Rs. 600,000 - Nissan Single Cabin, Engine Capacity: 2500 CC, Model: 1986, Reserved Price: Rs. 150,000 The vehicles are available for physical inspection at the office of the Assistant Engineer (Mail Motor Service), CTO Compound, I.I. Chundrigar Road, Karachi opposite D.J Science College during official working hours from 09:00 AM to 04:00 PM. Bidders must upload required documents on E-PAIDS Version 2.0 and submit photocopies to the Assistant Engineer at the CTO Compound by 21-10-2026. Required documents include National Identity Card (CNIC), valid/updated FBR NTN Certificate, original Pay Order(s), and present residential/business address with telephone number. Earnest money equal to 10% of the reserve price must be deposited via bank draft or pay order in favor of the Postmaster General, Metropolitan Circle, Karachi. The earnest money will be refunded to unsuccessful bidders after auction completion. Successful bidders must deposit 50% of the accepted bid on the auction day and the remaining 50% within three days. Failure to deposit the remaining amount will result in forfeiture. All government taxes, duties, and charges are the responsibility of the successful bidder. Transfer and re-registration fees for ownership documents will also be borne by the successful bidder. A NOC for transfer will be issued upon full payment, and possession will be handed over after vehicle registration in the bidder's name by the Excise & Taxation Officer. Bidders should verify chassis number, engine number, documents, and annual tax before auction as the office is not responsible for complaints thereafter. The Procuring Agency reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per PPRA Rules 2004. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure all required documents are uploaded timely on the E-PADS portal and physical copies submitted before the deadline to avoid disqualification.
