Tender Description

The Government Printing Press Lahore is conducting an open auction for the disposal of various categories of raw material scrap for the financial year 2025-2026. This auction provides an opportunity for interested parties to acquire scrap materials generated from the printing press operations. The auction will be held at the premises of the Government Printing Press, Lahore, and is open to all eligible bidders who meet the specified requirements.
Items being auctioned:
- White Paper Scrap (Reserve Price: Rs. 2,600,000, Auction Date: 19-09-2026, 11:00 AM)
- Brown Paper Scrap (Reserve Price: Rs. 2,600,000, Auction Date: 19-09-2026, 11:10 AM)
- Mixed Scrap (Reserve Price: Rs. 5,300,000, Auction Date: 19-09-2026, 11:20 AM)
The technical scope includes the collection and removal of the specified scrap materials from the printing press premises. Bidders are required to deposit earnest money of Rs. 300,000 for each lot in the form of a pay order or CDR in favor of the Government Printing Press Lahore. Only those bidders who submit the required earnest money and fulfill the eligibility criteria, including registration with FBR and being on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL), will be allowed to participate in the auction. The successful bidders must clear all dues and remove the auctioned material within the stipulated time frame.
The auction will be conducted on the specified dates and times mentioned above at the Government Printing Press Lahore. Interested parties are advised to inspect the scrap materials prior to the auction date to assess the quality and quantity. For submission, bidders must present their sealed bids along with the required documents and earnest money at the auction venue before the start time. A practical tip for bidders is to arrive early on the auction day to complete registration and inspection formalities, ensuring a smooth participation process.
