AUCTION: Rights to Collect Toll Tax at Mailsi Syphon Cum Barrage for 12-09-2026 to 30-06-2027

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Sealed bids are invited for the award of contract for the toll collection rights at Mailsi Syphon Cum Barrage for the period from 12-09-2026 to 30-06-2027, totaling 292 days. The auction is conducted by the Irrigation Multan Zone, Multan, with the Executive Engineer of Mailsi Syphon Division Thingi overseeing the process. The 2nd revised reserve price for the year 2026-27 (365 days) is approved at Rs. 24,602,216. Bidders must furnish earnest money in the form of a CDR amounting to 5% of the reserve price. Items involved: - Toll collection rights at Mailsi Syphon Cum Barrage for 292 days Bid documents can be obtained during office hours up to 08-09-2026 from the office of the Executive Engineer, Mailsi Syphon Division Thingi, upon submission of attested CNIC copy, specimen signature, and Power of Attorney if applicable. Sealed bids along with earnest money CDR must be submitted by 09-09-2026 up to 12:00 PM, with opening at 12:30 PM the same day. The bid amount is payable in twelve installments in advance, with all operational and maintenance expenses borne by the lessee. The highest bid acceptance rests with the Chief Engineer, Irrigation Multan Zone. Toll tax will be levied as per government-approved schedules. The successful bidder must provide a bank guarantee equal to 10% of the total bid amount after sanction receipt, in addition to earnest money. Income tax at 10% of the bid price and all other applicable taxes must be deposited as per government schedules. Conditional bids will not be entertained. The auction committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids without justification. In case of public holidays, submission and opening will occur on the next working day.
