Tender Description
NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights.
The Capital Development Authority (CDA), through its Emergency and Disaster Management Directorate in Islamabad, is offering an auction of scrap items. Interested parties, dealers, and firms registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the Sales Tax Department are eligible to participate in this auction.
Items being auctioned include various scrap materials held by the Emergency and Disaster Management Directorate, CDA. Specific item details are not provided in the notice.
The auction process requires interested bidders to submit an earnest money deposit (bid security) of Rs. 50,000/- in the form of a Pay Order in favor of DDO, Emergency and Disaster Management Directorate, CDA. Bidders must also provide a written application mentioning their CNIC number, mobile number, and STN/NTN.
The starting or initial bid will be announced by the Auction Committee at the time of the auction. The successful bidder must lift the auctioned items within 15 days from the issuance of the work order. A penalty of Rs. 5,000/- per day will be imposed for any delay. All expenses related to lifting, loading, and transportation will be borne by the successful bidder.
The successful bidder is required to deposit 25% of the bid amount on the spot, with the remaining amount to be paid within three days after confirmation by the competent authority. Bidders shall also be liable to pay GST and Income Tax at prescribed rates and are responsible for all applicable taxes and duties.
The auction will be held in Islamabad, and interested bidders should ensure timely submission of their bids and earnest money. One practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare all required documentation, including valid FBR and Sales Tax registration, to avoid disqualification during the verification process.
