AUCTION: Unserviceable Public Assets by Communication & Works Department Gilgit Baltistan Ghanche

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Communication & Works Department Gilgit Baltistan invites sealed bids from the general public for the auction of obsolete, unserviceable, and surplus public assets located in Ghanche. Any citizen of Pakistan holding a valid CNIC may participate in this auction. The auction includes the following lots: - Lot 1: Chain Dozer, 12000 kg, Reserve Price Rs 1,560,000, Earnest Money Rs 78,000 - Lot 2: Air Compressor, 1800 kg, Reserve Price Rs 234,000, Earnest Money Rs 11,700 - Lot 3: Road Roller, 12000 kg, Reserve Price Rs 1,560,000, Earnest Money Rs 78,000 - Lot 4: Bitumen Mixer, 1800 kg, Reserve Price Rs 234,000, Earnest Money Rs 11,700 - Lot 5: Furniture & Crockery (L.S), Reserve Price Rs 150,000, Earnest Money Rs 7,500 The auction will be conducted through open bids in accordance with applicable government rules and regulations. Assets will be sold on an "AS IS WHERE IS" basis, with no responsibility on the department for defects or transportation. Interested bidders may inspect the assets from 20-10-2026 to 06-11-2026 during office hours. Earnest money must be submitted in the form of CDR in favor of the Executive Engineer B&R Division C&W Ghanche. The highest valid bid above the reserve price will be accepted subject to approval. Successful bidders must deposit 25% of the bid amount within 2 working days of the auction and the balance within 7 days. This auction is an excellent opportunity for bidders to acquire heavy machinery and other assets at competitive prices. Bidders should ensure their CNIC is valid and attach it with their bid along with the required earnest money. Late or incomplete bids will be rejected. The auction opening is scheduled for 10-11-2026 starting at 11:30 AM, with closing at 4:00 PM the same day. The department reserves the right to reject any or all bids. A practical tip for bidders is to carefully inspect the assets during the inspection period to assess condition and usability, as no claims will be entertained after acceptance.
