Tender Description
NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Islamabad invites sealed bids from firms registered with income tax and sales tax departments for auction of unserviceable items including equipment, furniture & fixture, and miscellaneous items on "As is Where is basis".

- Equipment
- Furniture & fixture
- Miscellaneous items
The obsolete/unserviceable items, equipment, furniture & fixture and miscellaneous items can be inspected during office hours from 1200 hours to 1500 hours at Ministry of Foreign Affairs, G-5/1 Islamabad.
The auction will be held on 17 September 2026 at 1400 hours on "As is where is basis" through open bidding process at Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad. Sealed bids will be opened on the same day in front of their representatives.
Original CNIC is compulsory for all participants; the successful bidder will also deposit original CNIC for official record.
All bidders must deposit Rs. 25,000 as earnest money in shape of demand drafts in favour of Ministry of Foreign Affairs along with an application on the letterhead of the firm on 17 September 2026 before 1400 hours.
The highest successful bidder will deposit 50% of full payment of the auction amount in cash on the spot; otherwise, the bid will be cancelled and earnest money forfeited.
Rest of the auction amount and advance tax if applicable will be deposited in government treasury within 2 working days positively. Otherwise, the bid will be cancelled and amount forfeited.
If the highest successful bidder fails to deposit the required amount within stipulated time or fails to fulfill the terms and conditions of the auction, the bid shall stand cancelled and earnest money forfeited. The Ministry reserves the right to award the auction to the second highest bidder at the quoted bid price of the second highest bidder subject to fulfillment of all applicable terms and conditions.
The highest successful bidder will remove unserviceable items, equipment, furniture & fixture and miscellaneous items within 3 days after the auction date. After 3 days Rs. 10,000 per day will be charged as penalty.
In case of any damage to building during removal of items, repair/maintenance will be done as per original shape by the successful bidder; otherwise, items will not be allowed to be carried from building premises till repair/maintenance.
Earnest money of unsuccessful bidders will be returned at spot after auction. Refund requests will not be entertained until completion of auction.
The authority reserves the right to accept or reject the part or whole of the auction.
