Auction of Various Unserviceable/Old/Scrap Items and Waste Material at Women University Swabi

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Women University Swabi invites sealed bids under single stage One envelope bidding procedure for auction of various unserviceable/old/scrap items and waste materials on 'AS-IS WHERE-IS, CLEAN-UP AND ALL MUST GO' basis from individuals, firms, or contractors registered with tax authorities (Sales Tax and Income Tax) and active on FBR tax payment list with all terms and conditions. Items being auctioned include various unserviceable scrap items and waste materials located at Women University, Swabi Main Campus, Kotha. Auction/Tender documents can be downloaded from the Women University Swabi website www.wus.edu.pk or obtained from the Procurement Officer office on payment of tender fee Rs. 2,000/- in shape of CDR or by online deposit in Women University Swabi 'other collection account' No 238739974 in UBL main branch Swabi till 15-08-2026. Interested parties may examine the scrap items on any working day between 08:00 am to 4:00 pm till 31-08-2026. Original bids/offers along with Bid Security in form of Call Deposit Receipt/Bank Guarantee issued by a scheduled bank of Pakistan 5% of total bid value in name of Women University Swabi must be submitted in sealed envelope by 11:00 am on August 31, 2026. Bids will be opened in Committee Room at 11:30 am same day in presence of bidders or their representatives. The auction committee reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per KPPRA amended rules 2014. Successful bidders will pay applicable taxes and take scrap material in presence of auction committee before carrying the material. 1/4th of bid amount to be submitted on occasion and remaining within three calendar days. Bid security forfeited if full amount not deposited in three days. Successful bidder liable to clean ground within 7 days and pay all taxes. Women University Swabi employees and families not entitled to participate. One practical tip: Ensure your bid security CDR or bank guarantee is valid and properly issued in favor of Women University Swabi to avoid disqualification. Visit the site early to inspect scrap condition and prepare your bid accordingly.
