Tender Description
**Federal Board of Revenue (FBR)** invites applications from automobile workshops, firms, and dealerships for pre-qualification to repair and maintain Government vehicles during financial year 2026-27. The selected workshops will provide vehicle servicing, mechanical and electronic diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, overhauling, genuine replacement parts, tyres, batteries, and engine oil as required by FBR.
Specific item list not provided in the notice.
The workshop must operate its own state-of-the-art office or workshop in Islamabad or Rawalpindi and demonstrate adequate facilities for engine overhauling, denting, painting, software and electronic technology, fault identification, and timely supply of genuine spare parts. Applicants must have at least two years of relevant experience, provide details of similar works in hand and previous clients, and show pre-qualification for similar assignments with government, semi-government, or private organizations. A sound financial position, supported where appropriate by bank statements, is also required.
Mandatory eligibility documents include GST registration, National Tax Number, active taxpayer status on the FBR ATL, PPRA vendor registration, bank account and IBAN details, AGPR vendor number, postal address, telephone, email and fax information, and an affidavit confirming that the applicant is not blacklisted and has not been involved in arbitration or litigation with any client during the previous five years. Each application must include a **Rs 25,000** security deposit through pay order or demand draft in favor of DDO, FBR (HQ), Islamabad.
Successful pre-qualified workshops must respond to work orders on the same day, including odd hours where necessary, replace defective components with genuine parts carrying adequate warranty, return faulty parts to FBR, and rectify recurring faults without additional charges during the warranty period. Only pre-qualified firms may participate in subsequent bidding. Sealed applications must reach **Second Secretary (Transport/Store), FBR (HQ), Room 540, Constitution Avenue, Opposite Supreme Court of Pakistan, Islamabad**, by hand during office hours or by courier by **12 August 2026, 11:59 PM**. Payments will be processed through AGPR, Islamabad or the vendor IBAN. Practical tip: organize experience proofs, registrations, affidavit, deposit instrument, and workshop capability evidence in a clearly indexed submission.
