Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the supply of high-quality ball bearings 6208 DU, 6208, and needle roller bearing INA NKI 60/25 P5 for the Pakistan Security Printing Corporation (PSPC) located in Karachi. The procurement falls under the Vehicles & Auto Parts category and is scheduled for delivery within 30 days of contract award. The PSPC, a reputable government entity, requires these bearings sourced exclusively from authorized distributors to ensure authenticity and avoid chain costing. The bearings must meet stringent technical specifications and originate from recognized manufacturers such as NSK and Schaeffler, with origins in England, Germany, or the EU.
The scope includes delivery, installation, integration, operational acceptance, and provision of training and documentation as per the Bill of Quantities (BOQ). Bidders must comply with PSPC's Code of Conduct and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies, submitting relevant undertakings. The tender follows the Single Stage One Envelope Procedure with a fixed bid security of PKR 22,000. Bidders must be active taxpayers, not blacklisted, and must submit a notarized power of attorney authorizing bid submission.
Compliance with PEC categories and FBR/ATL registration is mandatory. The financial year 2025-26 funds this procurement, and all bidders must meet eligibility criteria including no conflict of interest and no involvement of current or former PSPC workforce within the last five years. The bid validity period is 90 days, and the contract price is fixed with no adjustments allowed. The performance security required is 5% of the contract price, to be submitted within 10 days of Letter of Intent issuance.
Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS by the deadline of 22nd April 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day. The physical address for correspondence and submission of original bid security is the Purchase Department, PSPC, Jinnah Avenue, Malir Halt, Karachi. The tender documents and clarifications are available on the PSPC and PPRA websites.
Pro-Tip: Ensure all pages of the tender document are signed and stamped as incomplete or unsigned submissions will be rejected. Also, verify the authenticity of authorization letters from manufacturers to avoid disqualification. Timely submission of original bid security is critical as non-receipt before deadline leads to outright rejection.
