Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the supply of Butter Individual 8g-to-10g Cups for Pakistan International Airlines' network across multiple stations including Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, and others for the fiscal year 2026-27. The Supply Chain Management Department at PIACL Karachi requires these butter cups to meet strict quality and hygienic standards, ensuring fresh taste and proper packaging for both international and domestic flights. The tender covers a total quantity of 1,750,000 cups distributed across various stations with delivery on an as-and-when-required basis.
The butter must be manufactured under hygienic conditions, containing at least 85% pure milk fat and no more than 15% moisture. Packaging must be leak-proof with clear manufacturing and expiry dates printed on each cup, and the product must be HALAL certified and ISO-22000 or HACCP certified. Delivery requires refrigerated transport maintaining proper temperature to prevent spoilage. Samples of 25 cups must be submitted on tender day for technical evaluation. The tender follows a single stage two envelope procedure with separate technical and financial proposals.
Bidders must be registered with the Sales Tax Authorities and provide valid GST and NTN certificates. Earnest Money in the form of a pay order is mandatory for local bidders, and security deposits may be called if required. The tender requires compliance with PEC categories and FBR/ATL active status for the financial year 2025-26. Payment terms are NET 30 days, and prices must be firm for 120 days. Submission deadline is set for 20-04-2026 at 10:30 AM, with bid opening at 11:00 AM on the same day via the EPADS electronic portal.
