Indigenous Development of Cable Assembly AC and Cable Assembly DC for Pakistan Navy

Pakistan Navy invites bids for the indigenous development and supply of Cable Assembly AC and Cable Assembly DC, to be undertaken at the Naval Research & Development Institute (NRDI), West Wharf Road, Karachi. This procurement is managed by the Directorate of Inventory Deletion, ITD Wing. The project aims to locally manufacture and supply these cable assemblies as per detailed technical specifications and requirements provided in the annexures. Items being procured: - Cable Assembly AC (specifications as attached at Annexes A & B) - Cable Assembly DC (specifications as attached at Annexes A & C) Firms are required to submit a detailed feasibility study for both assemblies, including methodology of development, warranty period (minimum 12 months), validation and customer feedback, and availability of support for troubleshooting. The technical proposal must address all requirements and be submitted in a separate sealed envelope, clearly marked as TECHNICAL PROPOSAL. The commercial offer, containing quoted prices in figures and words, must be submitted in a separate envelope marked as COMMERCIAL OFFER. Both envelopes are to be enclosed in a single package and delivered to the Directorate of Inventory Deletion, ITD Wing, NRDI, Karachi. Eligibility criteria include valid FBR Sales Tax Registration, experience in similar product development, and submission of earnest money as per the project cost slab (ranging from Rs. 4,500 to Rs. 23,000 depending on the estimated project cost). Firms registered with DITD PN will submit 2% of the quoted value as earnest money, while non-registered firms will submit 5% (maximum ceiling Rs. 0.5 million and Rs. 1 million respectively). Cheques and pay-in-slips are not acceptable; only Pay Order/Demand Draft in favor of the Controller of Naval Accounts is allowed. Technical offers will be opened on 15 October 2026 at 1130 hours.
