Carriage of Material, Construction of Tower Foundations, Butt Joints, Erection of Towers and Stringing of Conductor for Rehabilitation of 132kV D/C Transmission Line D.I. Khan - Pezu

The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) invites bids for the comprehensive rehabilitation of the 132 kV Double-Circuit Transmission Line from 220 kV Grid Station D.I. Khan to 132 kV Grid Station Pezu, located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This tender covers carriage of materials from Jamrud warehouse to the camp store, construction of tower foundations, butt joints of tower legs, erection of towers, and stringing of conductors including earth wire. Items being procured: - Carriage of materials including earth, silt, sand, stone aggregate, coal, lime, surkhi, steel girders, MS sheets, MS bars, timber, and fuel wood by truck or other means over various distances and quantities - Construction of tower foundations using PCC 1:2:4 for various tower types (ZM-I, ZM-30, ZM-60) including excavation, blasting, stub setting, curing, backfilling, and slope protection - Butt jointing and reconstruction/repair of tower chimneys for ZM-I, ZM-30, and ZM-60 tower types - Transportation of tower materials from camp store to site and erection of towers of various types including fixing anti-climbing devices, barbed wire, name plates, welding, painting, and removal of obstructions - Installation of deficient or short tower braces - Shifting of stringing materials and stringing of six RAIL conductors and one RAIL conductor including installation of disc insulators, mid-span joints, SBDs, PG connectors, and allied hardware - Stringing of one earth wire including installation of SBDs and allied accessories The scope includes all civil and electrical works necessary for the rehabilitation, dismantling and replacement of damaged components, testing, commissioning, and energization. Bidders must have valid PEC registration in Category C-4 or above with specialization codes CE-10 and EE-05, valid FBR/NTN and Active Taxpayer status, KPRA registration where applicable, and registration on EPADS v2.0. Experience in bored RCC pile foundations and 132 kV or higher overhead transmission-line works is required. The contract duration is 180 days with commencement expected within 14 days of award. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by **Monday, October 12, 2026 at 10:00 AM**. Manual submissions are not accepted. Bid security of 3% of the estimated cost in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) is mandatory. The bid opening will be conducted online on the same day at 10:30 AM. The evaluation method is Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS). The procuring agency reserves the right to reject all bids.
