Tender Description
The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) invites sealed bids for the procurement of a comprehensive CCTV monitoring system for its Quetta zonal office. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to enhance security and surveillance capabilities at the specified location. The bidding process will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 platform, ensuring transparency and ease of participation for eligible bidders.
Items being procured:
- Fixed IP CCTV Cameras (Bullet Type) Qty: 14
- Fixed IP CCTV Cameras (Turret Cameras) Qty: 10
- PTZ IP Cameras Qty: 3
- 16-Port Gigabit PoE+ Managed Switches Qty: 3
- Network Video Recorder (NVR) Qty: 1
- Surveillance Hard Disk Qty: 1
- Cat 6 Networking Cable Qty: 500 meters
- Installation Charges Qty: 1
The technical specifications require high-resolution cameras with features such as 8 MP resolution, ColorVu 24/7 full-color imaging, AcuSense technology, 4K resolution, night vision, weather-resistant housing, and optical zoom capabilities for PTZ cameras. The managed switches must support sufficient power budget and VLAN capabilities. The NVR should support 32 ports and simultaneous recording of all channels. Installation includes cabling and commissioning at the Quetta zonal office.
Eligible bidders must have at least 3 years of relevant experience, be registered with FBR and other statutory bodies, and provide evidence of authorized dealership for the quoted brands. Bid security must be submitted in the form of a Pay Order, and bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by the deadline. Manual submissions will not be entertained.
The bid opening will be conducted online on September 10, 2026, at 11:30 AM. The procurement will follow the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents and ensure compliance with all requirements. One practical tip for bidders is to complete their EPADS registration well in advance to avoid last-minute technical issues during bid submission.
This procurement offers a valuable opportunity for qualified suppliers to contribute to enhancing security infrastructure in Quetta under the auspices of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority.
