Tender Description
The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) through its Resident Engineer at Jinnah Hydel Power Station in Kalabagh, Punjab, is procuring essential equipment including centrifugal pumps and a spare power transformer. This procurement is critical for maintaining and enhancing the operational efficiency of the power station. The scope includes supply of centrifugal pumps with motors and a spare power transformer, both to be delivered on DDP basis to the JHPS site.
Interested firms must be registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and must appear on the Active Tax Payers List (ATL) of the FBR. The procurement follows the Single Stage One Envelope procedure, requiring submission of technical and financial bids together. Earnest Money in the form of a CDR is mandatory, with amounts specified for each item. The CDR must be in favor of the Resident Engineer JHPS Kalabagh and the original along with a copy of the bidding document must be submitted before the closing date.
The closing date for bid submission is 21st July 2026, with electronic bids to be submitted via the EPADS portal. Bids will be opened on the same day at the Conference Room of the Resident Engineer's office in Kalabagh. This tender offers a valuable opportunity for suppliers experienced in electrical and mechanical equipment to participate in a significant project within the energy sector.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that the CDR is properly labeled with the firm's name and submitted both electronically and physically on time to avoid disqualification. Attention to detail in the bid submission process is crucial for success in this competitive procurement.
