Tender Description
The Military Engineer Services (MES) is inviting applications for the pre-qualification of firms and contractors for the provision of certain facilities and furniture across multiple cities including Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, and Turbat. This procurement is specifically managed by HQ DW&CE (Navy) located at Sector E-8, Naval Complex, Islamabad. The scope includes the provision of various facilities at Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, and Turbat, as well as the supply and installation of furniture in these cities.
Firms interested in this tender must be enlisted with MES in category A or B, or be registered with other government departments with relevant experience in similar works. The technical scope requires submission of a detailed company profile including descriptions of similar works completed in the last five years, a list of enrolled manpower with valid PEC numbers, details of tools, plants, and machinery, bank statements for the last two years, and valid NTN, FBR, PEC, and MES registration certificates. Firms not registered or with expired Pakistan Engineering Council registration beyond 30th June 2026 will not be considered.
The tender documents will only be issued to prequalified firms who will be required to deposit bid security equal to 2% of the quoted bid cost in favor of DW&CE (Navy) Islamabad. The deadline for submission of bids is 11 May 2026 by 1130 hours at HQ DW&CE (Navy), Sector E-8, Naval Complex, Islamabad, with opening scheduled at 1200 hours the same day.
