Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the supply of various chemicals and paints required by the Ministry of Defence at Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra, Punjab. The procurement covers specialized sealing compounds, heat resistant paints, greases, resins, lacquers, and other chemical agents essential for maintenance and production activities at the facility. The items must be factory new, from current production, and packed suitably for transportation by road, sea, or air to Kamra.
The scope includes delivery within three months after contract signing, with a second batch due six months after the first. The technical evaluation requires submission of detailed brochures and compliance certificates. The site at Kamra demands high-quality materials that meet aviation standards, including preservation and metallurgical test reports. The engineering challenge lies in ensuring materials meet strict specifications for durability and safety in aeronautical applications.
Bidders should hold valid PEC registration and be on the FBR Active Taxpayer List for the fiscal year 2025-26. Compliance with all tender conditions, including submission of OEM certificates, bid security of 5%, and a 10% performance bank guarantee, is mandatory. The tender fee of Rs 200 must be paid via treasury challan. Firms must submit complete IT documents and ensure no litigation or blacklisting history.
The submission deadline is set for 03 March 2026 at 10:30 AM, with technical bids opening at 11:00 AM on the same day. Bids must be delivered to the Directorate of Central Procurement, Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Kamra, District Attock. Late submissions will not be entertained. Bidders or their representatives may attend the opening with prior intimation and valid identification.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid includes all required annexures and original OEM quotations to avoid disqualification. Pay special attention to the bid security format and validity dates, as these are common grounds for rejection. Also, confirm your firm's security clearance status early to prevent delays.
