Tender Description
Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering & Management Sciences (BUITEMS) Quetta is procuring brand new Civil Engineering Lab Equipment for its laboratories. This procurement includes supply, installation, commissioning, testing, and training of university personnel on the operation and maintenance of the equipment. The scope covers a wide range of mechanical and electrical lab instruments such as Mini Francis Turbine, Mini Kaplan Turbine, Mini Pelton Turbine, Centrifugal and Reciprocating Pumps, Tilting Flume, Digital Hydraulic Flow Meter, Pitot Tubes, Hydrostatic Pressure apparatus, Flow Meters, Orifice and Jet Flow probes, Vortex Rotating Paddle, and Water Bath among others. All equipment must be new, unused, and conform to international and source country standards with proper electrical ratings and name plates. The supplier is responsible for safe transportation, installation, commissioning, and training at BUITEMS premises in Quetta. Bidders must be registered with FBR, on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL), and provide a 2% bid security. Technical and financial bids are to be submitted in separate sealed envelopes by 14th May 2026 at 03:00 pm to the Directorate of Procurement, BUITEMS, Quetta. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 03:30 pm in Jinnah Hall. The contract includes a one-year warranty and requires performance security of 10% of the contract value. The supplier must also provide post-warranty maintenance services and spare parts availability for ten years. Bidders should ensure compliance with all tender conditions, including PEC category if applicable, and submit all required documents such as company profile, tax certificates, OEM authorization, and non-blacklisting affidavit.
