Tender Description
The Pakistan Air Force Base Samungli Quetta is inviting bids for the collection of scrap metal from the Mashlak Firing Range and Small Arms Firing Range for a period of one year. This procurement is specific to the Quetta region and involves the removal and collection of scrap metal materials from these designated firing ranges.
The technical scope includes the collection of scrap metal from the Mashlak Firing Range from 01 April 2026 to 30 June 2027 and from the Small Arms Firing Range from 01 May 2026 to 30 June 2027. The successful contractor will be responsible for ploughing the firing range once every two weeks, especially during the rainy season, and contributing to the repair of the firing range during adverse weather conditions. This requires a contractor with experience in handling scrap metal collection and site maintenance under challenging conditions.
Eligible bidders should be registered with the FBR and have relevant experience in similar works. Although no specific PEC category is mentioned, bidders should ensure they meet all regulatory and financial requirements, including providing a Bank Draft of Rs 20,000 as a security fee (Earnest Money). The security fee cheque will not be entertained and will be returned to unsuccessful bidders.
The tender submission deadline is **02 July 2026**. Bidders should submit their sealed tenders to the Personnel Squadron at PAF Base Samungli Quetta. For further details, contact the officer in charge Personnel Squadron at telephone number 081-9505031 or mobile 0300-3809996.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure the Bank Draft for the security fee is correctly prepared and attached with the bid, as failure to do so will result in rejection. Also, timely site visits to understand the terrain and scope will help in preparing a competitive and realistic bid.
