Trading Corporation of Pakistan (Pvt) Limited, Karachi, a state-owned commercial organization under the Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan, invites bids for commodity operations financing (COF) for Sugar, Wheat, Urea, Cotton, and Rice for the quarter October-December 2026. The financing is provided through a Cash Credit Limit approved by the Ministry of Finance and allocated commodity-wise by the State Bank of Pakistan. TCP seeks bids from banks to provide financing against guarantees issued by the Government of Pakistan. Items being procured: - Commodity Operations Financing for Sugar - Commodity Operations Financing for Wheat - Commodity Operations Financing for Urea - Commodity Operations Financing for Cotton - Commodity Operations Financing for Rice The tender amount for COF is Rs.506.600 Billion. TCP reserves the right to obtain additional financing limits during the quarter. The financing will be based on three months KIBOR as of 30th September 2026 or the last working day of the previous quarter. Islamic banks will follow Shariah principles as per agreements. Banks must quote the lowest markup rate without conditional or slab markup rates. Consortium or joint venture participation is not allowed. All participating banks must be licensed by the State Bank of Pakistan or SECP. Bidders must register on the e-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (EPADS) portal and submit bids addressed to Finance & Accounts Division, FTC Building, Block-B, 4th & 5th Floor, TCP, Karachi. For guidance, contact EPADS UAN or PPRA. The complete tendering process will be conducted through EPADS. This financing opportunity is critical for banks licensed by the State Bank of Pakistan to support commodity operations for the government. Bidders should ensure timely registration and submission on EPADS to avoid disqualification. The earnest money and bid security details are governed by the EPADS system requirements.
