Computer Based Examination Software with Hardware for MBBS/BDS Programs

Bahria University Islamabad is procuring a comprehensive Computer Based Examination (CBE) Software with associated hardware specifically designed for MBBS/BDS programs. This procurement is for the 2026-27 financial year and aims to enhance examination management across multiple campuses including Islamabad, Karachi, and Abbottabad. Items being procured: - Server-grade multi-core processor(s) with minimum 32 physical cores - Supported motherboard and tower casing - 64 GB ECC RAM (4 units) - 1 TB NVMe Gen5 for OS/Application (2 units) - Enterprise SSD RAID protected 1 TB (4 units) - Dual 1/10 Gigabit Ethernet (1 unit) - Redundant Power Supplies (1 unit) - Dedicated GPU with minimum 4 GB for AI processing (1 unit) - Windows Server or Enterprise Linux latest release (1 unit) - Laptop Workstations with 12th Generation Intel Core i5/i7 or higher, 32 GB RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD (3 units) - SanDisk Extreme 1TB Portable SSD - Black (3 units) - Tp Link EAP 650 ax3000 Ceiling mount WIFI 6 Access Point or equivalent (30 units) - Router TP Link Archer Ax 12 AX1500 WIFI 6 or equivalent (6 units) - Power Bank for Router and Chrome Book (50 units) - Cat 6 Cable 302m with fixture (1 box) The scope includes design, supply, installation, configuration, customization, integration, testing, commissioning, training, and maintenance of the CBE system. The system must support offline/local server deployment to ensure uninterrupted examination activities during internet disruptions. It will integrate with existing university examination processes including candidate registration, authentication, scheduling, and result management. The solution must provide a secure exam environment with role-based access, audit trails, psychometric analysis, and multi-campus administration. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have at least 3 years of experience in examination software development, successful deployments in at least 5 organizations, and capability to support 2,000 concurrent candidates. Registration with NADRA, FBR, and PSEB is mandatory. A bid security of PKR 130,000 and a non-refundable tender fee of PKR 5,000 are required.
